What is Raw Nutrition?

Raw Nutrition is associated with foods groups that are Unprocessed, Unrefined, Raw and Living. Meaning, the food we eat are never heated above 44 degrees. Why? This process helps maintain food quality without destroying enzymes that are present within the ingredients. It’s these intact enzymes that allows our body to easily absorb and digest nutrients.

Raw Food consists of Organic fruits and vegetables along with nuts, seeds, GF grains, sprouted legumes, sea vegetables, fermented foods, Superfoods, unrefined oils, herbs and spices. Giving you the potential to create flavoursome and delicious dishes. Some examples include – Raw Granolas, Smoothies, Sauces, Cultured Veggies, Nut Cheeses, Delicious Desserts and Fermented Foods.

We all know the 2 Fruit, 5 Veg recommendation, but how many of us actually fulfil that recommendation? Together, let’s bringing the rainbow back to our plates, by adding more variety of colourful fruit and vegetables to our lifestyle so we can achieve this and so much more.

People are always so surprised, it’s not just salads all day everyday. It’s so much more…

I want to share my knowledge and love of raw food with others so they to can learn, create and feel the endless potential Raw Food can offer.

Stay Energized and Satisfied with Fruits

The majority of a raw food diet consists of vitamin-rich, wonderfully sweet fresh fruits. Fruits are mild in calories and leave you feeling energized and satisfied. When fruits are eaten whole, their fiber aids in slow, healthy digestion that leaves the body feeling replenished and controls your appetite. Fruits can also be blended or juiced to add tasty variety to the raw diet.
